FUEL TANK MAINTENANCE

In truck maintenance, there are often spare parts that are easily overlooked, or even parts that are known not to be maintained.

Among these, cleaning and maintaining car fuel tanks is often ignored by most people. The fuel tank is fully sealed except when it is partially sealed during refueling.

However, as the truck ages and its usage time increases, more and more impurities precipitated in the fuel tank will inevitably enter the engine with the truck's fuel supply system, damaging the truck over time.

Once these impurities have entered the fuel tank, they first settle at the bottom of the fuel tank.

Therefore, it is necessary to clean the fuel tank regularly!
Generally, fuel tank cleaning is divided into two stages, internal and external.

External: Check the tank, fuel line, seal and other areas for dents or fuel leaks.

Don't forget to check that the fuel tank bracket fixing screws are tight.

Internal: Open the fuel tank port, remove the filter barrel and siphon out the fuel, leaving only about 30 liters of fuel in the tank.

Insert the cleaned plastic hose from the fuel filler neck to the bottom of the fuel tank.

And gently blow the gasoline into the bottom of the fuel tank before driving to achieve the cleaning effect.
