Description

RIVETING MACHINE

Special, quick and powerfull, easy to use,
riveting machine operating with compressed
air for the riveting of brake linings and
clutches on passenger, commercial and heavy
duty vehicles.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
We connect the machine to the supply of compressed air at the
external indication of entrance. With the type of the rivet we want to
use, we perform a test in order to confirm the needed pressure,
meaning that for a rivet of 6mm we adjust the manometer to 6 bars.
We put the riveting punch to the upper part and housing to teh
adjustable base of the under part, which means punch of 6 mm and
housing of 11,5 mm. In the meantime we test the treading of the
rivet by bringing up or down the pressure until achieving perfect
application. We press the rivets through the brake lining and then
through the brake shoe. We place the brake lining and the brake shoe
in such a way that the head of the rivet “touches” the housing. As we
press the pedal the punch comes down onto the open point of the
rivet, opens it and creates a perfect fit.
MAINTENANCE

It does not need special maintenance instructions. It is only

GROUP OF FILTER AND PRESSURE MANOMETER:
Water “trap”: Here the humidity of air is concentrated. The
container opens at its lower part. The manometer adjusts the
pressure up to 10 bars. Pressure governor: The highest
applicable pressure into the filter group is 16 bars. The glass
container should not be cleaned with chemical solvents.
